Having been diagnosed with a genetic connective tissue disorder at birth, I’ve been challenged with the laxity of joints, generalized muscle weakness and mobility issues lifelong.  I’ve been an intermittent patient of Rathjen Physical Therapy for the management of the malady since its medical practice inception, and have always experienced a professional, genuinely caring and empathetic staff that empowers me to continue in being ambulatory and fracture-free in my medical retirement from teaching in the public schools.  Their patient education and vestibular training have been an invaluable support in coping with my disorder.  Also, I deeply appreciate their keeping my local and Mayo Clinic physicians apprized of my progress and continued physical health status.   In short, I’m forever grateful for the amelioration, wisdom and stellar care orchestrated with excellence by the Rathjen Physical Therapy of Grand Island, Nebraska!
